As an aside, I'm pretty invested in the PDH community running several tournaments in the Philly area. Could you tell me a bit about the scene in your area?

I'm spreading the gospel wearing my PLAY PDH shirt at local events. Usually hear "oh I have a PDH deck… at home" 🙄. Lucked into pod at LGS a couple of months ago. We did 5-player star. Now have own little game Discord, usually try to get two games in after a regular Saturday night Commander League.
