There’s a reason they call it the terrible twos - even though it can start before two and last several years. And it’s not necessarily a reflection on parenting skills: two year olds are monsters because they are intelligent and trying to take on the world on their own, which is good, actually.

And it shouldn’t be hard to make cute stuff. But maybe not mass-produced in China - hand crafted, country-style knickknacks would be perfect. Even manufactured stuff could be nicer than those awful dolls: a line of “vintage inspired” baking paraphernalia. Notebooks. Seed packets for wildflowers.
