I occasionally pop over to twitter to see info from accounts that arent set up over here and it really is notable how much more toxic & doomerist the vibe is over there, mostly bc ppl are awash in far right troll accounts & bots and either don’t realize it or can’t bring themselves to break away

I think Elon musk is changing the algorithm behind the scenes, because I had a fresh account to sort of "train" the algorithm to show the content I like, it was fine like 2 weeks-ish? and out of nowhere all of this garbage just starts pouring down in my home page which made twitter so infuriating..

Full on panic mode set in among a bunch of ppl following the election over there this weekend it looks like and for no discernible reason. Pro-Trump troll accounts post fake “leaked” poll numbers that are way better for him than the actual polls & ppl fall for it! Over and over again!

But the artists! Videos! Other things!

I swear its even worse during election season like its already bad enough that the site is 10x more political now

Can't bring themselves. Acclimated and habituated. They don't want to hurt their own feelings or income, for some, but still emotional.

The vibes are rancid amongst the set of what remains of the late, great Election Twitter.
