Reading Bleak House during down time at a vintage clothing shop in a ritzy Long Island town, where they didn't get buying "old clothes." So I was alone a lot even though it was Christmas. I shut my eyes and I can see the store's Christmas lights blinking and remember never wanting the book to end.

Went with a friend to see "The Brothers Grimm" (2005). It was so bad I would have left if I'd had my car. As it was, I went and hid out in the bathroom for a prolonged period.
