Was never a big fan of his. He was definitely talented though. I certainly remember him in the 1975 WS (breaking my heart) and I also remember exactly where I was when he broke Ty Cobb's hits record in September, 1985. That was a cool thing. Nice card.

I agree with Erin. He did great things for the farm system. No support from the 💩 owner to do much else.

So I wasn't the only one obsessively collecting them.
