Is the story different from the first one? I spent 80 hours on the first one and loved it dearly.

It’s a whole different cast of characters with more elaborate plot lines then those of the first games crew, and thing that binds the characters together is much more visible here. I’d say Octopath 2’s story is one of its strongest aspects, it is, indeed, very good
