I've seen it used for harassment campaigns. It can be abused either way. Mostly I'm amazed that peeps forget that when you post something public online, you are NOT screaming into the void.
I've noticed that there are ppl who will block someone then keep talking smack about the person they block. Which, IMOO, is bad form, and likely lead to this change. Someone just has to ruin it for everyone...
Not reading the market is a big problem. But executives are often on 2-5 year cycles with their contracts so that means leadership changes several times above the developers and that always causes problems.
This was just badly managed. It's an Arena shooter, there is no reason it should have taken 8 years - and it was probably the new management that SONY brought on that screwed it up.
Having grown up semi-fundie (left that behind years ago), it has it's problems (big ones) but gawddamn that is an oversimplification of a group more diverse than you think. It's not nice to flanderize people.
The biggest key to fighting depression is to not indulge in it. To break free from the death spiral thought process. To not validate it. Tell your depression it's full shit and can fuck off. Blow up it's house with a combustible lemon. It's difficult but it gets better with practice.

And I'll be the first to admit that Mistakes Were Made (by me) and I should have stepped away sooner. It was a rough patch IRL that affected my choices with the group. But I learned a lot, especially about project management.
Dunno how well they even doin' but wish them well. Never finished anything so nothing I did was merged in and never was able to build a team for Morrowind back in the day. In hindsight, the Drangonborn DLC killed my corner of the project because everyone got their Morrowind fix.
