I wish that were so but it also has a core of the really nasty racists & thugs in our society. (Although many are moving to Clacton so we could corral them there 🙂)

Unfortunately, these attitudes will be growing in the next generation too. They didn't pop out of nowhere. Radical-right agitators have been there all the time waiting for their ideologies to be legitimised again. They prey on the young too. This genie is going to be hard to re-bottle.

Not in all countries. In some, like France and Argentina, quite a lot of young people support the far right.
