On a recent ComicLab episode from the NCS, one of the panelists noted a big uptick in requests for *real* artwork because clients were seeing very similar, unreal AI stuff polluting the world, and they felt handcrafted human work would stand out! I loved hearing that.

Yeah, along with the sameyness (which, you know, human creators and commissioning audiences can also fall prey to), the killer is AI’s inherent lack of point of view. It feels like a weird reverse variant on pouring your heart out to somebody and then realizing they weren’t listening.
