Europe's leaders sign Munich Agreement, ceding a region of Czechoslovakia to appease Hitler. On that same day British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain, upon landing at Heston Aerodrome, presents the peace treaty between Britain and Germany that Hitler had signed at the conference. Chamberlain promised British Public "peace in our time". However, the desperate attempt to avoid war fails. Within a year, Hitler's aggressive expansion plunges Europe into another devastating conflict. - Appeasing dictators is doomed to fail!
