I remember seeing those in 1996 as a child and thinking they were the future, obviously well before I read Reinventing Comics :-)

That's fair, generally I wouldn't block something if it was for a product I actually like. And if you're advertising right, the people seeing it should already like it or be interested.

The ads don't even do well there compared to other platforms. Even if you were okay with this, which no one should be.

Absolutely heartbreaking. Your concepts were so good and there was no reason for that. Just pay artists what they're worth. Art is literally the biggest reason I buy from them.
