more than once i've paid for the Uber to the airport instead of taking the train because i absolutely MUST get work done, and then when i see a tesla rolling up my heart sinks

we had to take a lyft about half an hour away to adopt some cats last year, and to our dismay the person who showed up was in a tesla. we white-knuckled it there hoping we wouldn’t explode on the freeway; at least we’d be getting a ride back from the foster. …she had a fucking tesla too 😂
