Chimera's Fall is already about 10K words over the original plan. Going to end up about 20K over. Sigh.
At 94,160, this is my 7th most productive month of all time. I would need to write 2,000 more words to move it to my 5th most productive month... *smacks fingers* bad author, bad. STOP
I have written 5K words today. I'm at 29K for the week. On target to finish the book a day or two late versus my plan, but well before it actually needs to go to anyone. It would be ridiculous of me to force out another couple of sprints to move it up my list of most productive months, yes?
I think they did get me on at one point, but my memory of the last few years is not great. (No one warns you of all the small ways life altering stress hits you)
Because people keep asking, the Story of The Lizard In That Dude's Leg. Some caveats: 1. This happened more than twenty years ago. There are no pictures. There was a small article in a local paper with, again, no pictures (I'm assuming that's what the producers of 9-1-1: LONE STAR found).
I can confirm, I've even seen them in the same room at the same time!
If we're talking about trans SFFH, there are hundreds of trans writers here, many of whom are doing great things in the genres, and also me
To explain, i don't think people realise how LEGIT Kristofferson was. Not just one of the greatest country music singer-songwriters of ANY generation. He also had ZERO time for the poser Trumpy fucks of the genre. He backed up people like Nelson or Sinead O'Connor when they needed friends.
Unsurprisingly, Seanan has some solid advice in here!
