I have successfully infiltrated the student's favourite cafe. They haven't realized yet that my textbook is a bit different... 🤫😝 My first look at #Dragonbane TTRPG! So far, so good!
TFW: you forego coins and barter for things instead. 💜☕ A handy-dandy cute lil' me, in exchange for Hogwarts campaign 😂 You can catch my friend on X and try to convince her to move here :P twitter.com/pajeczara
Ahhh. Well, it doesn't sound *bad*. I guess people are bothered that it's CR? I don't think anyone would be as critical of an indie ttrpg creator 😅 Though maybe that comes with exposure?
Huh, it's workable I guess 🤔😂 Like YZE. I guess I shall see how it compares to Candela and other games. Fingers crossed that I end up loving that one!
Ooo, thanks! ❤️
Ouch. Haven't touched Daggerheart yet, but why are PbtA folks so salty??? Afaik Daggerheart isn't a PbtA game? Or is it? 👀
F for the lost systems. I'd actually like to see them jumping ship, even though I don't think they'll do it. As for the Daggerheart I hope that it'll have a better feel than Candela 🤣
Nice! I wanted to dig into that, too. Though I'm not sure what to think about their deal with Demiplane 🙈 Are there any pdfs? Or is the access limited to the website?
Also, your post kind of made me realise what exactly I've been feeling is off with Candela Obscura 🤣 I've realised that I'm not used to systems who are that mechanically complex (relatively) and have NO combat rules. I can do simple mechanics with no combat, or complicated with combat rules. 🤣
