Of all the shows to watch for the spooky season you would probably not expect Hey Arnold to be my first choice. But it's a show that loves it's urban legends. Picking a random episode you could get some silly classroom shenanigans or a train ride to Hell.
This feels like the dumbest thing. Had a bit of a rough day at work, hot day. Stopped at a yoghurt stall I have walked by every single day since starting this job and bought a cup. It was actually like one of those commercials where eating a snack fixes everything.
Been listening to this fun little podcast where a husband and wife talk about spooky stories, aware that with the latest upload the series is on a bit of a break. Only now realizing that latest upload is actually from 2022...
Day of the First Day.
Friend: Imma post a dumb in-joke only you and two others will laugh at. Me: I will not laugh out of spite. My friend posts the picture and I genuinely don't get it. Seconds later, it clicks. Me: HA - Aw dangit.
I feel like any time I want to weigh in on something I'm always in the middle, which is annoying, but then it feels like so many people lean on the extremes so hard it helps to try and bridge the gap.
I have got to stop letting minor things ruin my mood. Like, if I am conciously able to step back and see that it's not a big deal, I should be allowed to just click back to feelin' fine.
There are moments where I sit in the park with the right comic and the world, for just a moment, starts making sense again.
