I used to license board games, and Japanese devs and publishers are so risk averse that they’ll for sure avoid anything that may not 100% pan out. Even if there’s no real cost to them fiscally.

In my experience, the Reddit audience is way harsher than say Bksy or Twitter, but they also tend to prefer more substantive posts. Like when I post my comics there, they underperform unless I make a post with 4-5 pages minimum. Content wise, it's important to keep your posts in the most apt subs.
