They want your despair. Withhold it.

And to be clear, they can do a lot of harm without your despair, it’s not some talisman that will defeat them on its own. But it is something they feel entitled to and it drives them nuts if they can’t have it.

When life gives you lemons, don’t make lemonade. Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don’t want your damn lemons, what the hell am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life’s manager! Do you know who I am? I’m the one who's gonna burn life's house down! With the lemons!

Forget despair. I’m furious.

But don't skimp on the anger.
