i still don’t understand how they convinced people in tennessee and ohio and shit that “border security” “affects their daily lives”

Like the mysteries of Hooty himself, some things are just not meant to be understood.

I was up in Northern New England this past week and saw signs about Border Security. Like I promise they aren’t flooding in from the Southern Border and taking over New Hampshire and Vermont. What are they scared of…Canadians? It’s just racism plain and simple, call it like it is.

They're convinced that immigrants travel far inland to steal their jobs while also bringing lots of guns and drugs but also being on welfare, all simultaneously. Also they commit all the crimes, but somehow never get caught or punished. It's the same old same old rhetoric. (Also, HOOT.)

"Border security" is just a racist dog whistle. Always has been.
