I really appreciate statistical/methodological blogs of this nature. Thanks Julia. I realize you don't get much "credit" in terms of your CV for writing blogs (vs. journal articles), but please know that we are reading! And it's all giving us much to think about.

Personally, I think too many researchers apply a design method or statistical method that they know or feel comfortable with, without enough consideration of what is best for answering the research question. I'm also asking my students to return to the research question, & how can address best?
