I actually think Vance’s answer to J6 was interesting. Everyone is saying “Vance doesn’t think Trump lost the election” but I think it’s way more likely Vance thinks he did lose, he just can’t say that. Despite how he interacts with people, Vance isn’t actually an idiot.

I mean, while I know we all would have LOVED to see it, Walz actually beating Vance to death on live TV might not have played in Peoria, or whatever.

Walz won by far. As for shadyJD, icing (lies) on a turd is still a losing turd.

Most people who are just tuning in did not watch for the same reason that many of us did: to watch Walz school Vance, call him "son" the way only a disapproving coach can, and make him run laps around nearest football field. They wanted the reassurance of normal, and that's what they got from Walz.

This is the debate I saw. I think Walz is actually relatable to regular folks as opposed to a Yale Law simulation of such. I guess Ross Douthat and I will have to disagree.
