There’s a methodology here to “block and move on.” This was a chance to start over. Early blue sky adopters recognized that engagement was legitimizing and the idea is to starve them of any engagement. Let them rot in a void of their own making.

I really appreciate that. I’m trying to get my game group to do something other than 5e and I think they’ll play whatever I offer (they’re a good group that just loves playing games) and I’m thinking TES or Tales From the Loop might be my next campaign

It’s definitely a game book I bought, like Mörk Borg, that is almost entirely on the shelf for the art.

I find a lot of players tend to enjoy making interesting backstories. I’d tell them, “imagine making backstories for many characters and even building creating the places you mention in said stories.”
