Absolutely vital as the last few weeks have shown.

FPTP has benefited the two main parties for generations, but it’s breaking down, at the last election their combined share of the vote was the smallest ever. It mostly benefited the Tories, but most people vote centre left. With PR we would get a Parliament that reflects how we vote. Good or bad.

I remember the Victor comic featuring Alf Tupper, the Tough of the Track. A working class hero :)

With PR if a majority vote for the extreme right they win, with our system they would only need a third of the vote to win.
