Fantastic! And there you go—hypothesis 1 covers most of the bases. It omits the ravers, though their two-strapping is surely related both aesthetically and functionally to skater two-strapping. But the question remains: why too the massive pants?

This is real. Transition out happened over the course of the 90s at shows through ravers and skaters and Rawkus backpack-rap heads, all of whom also wore enormous pants. Two straps, huge pants, many forms of music. There is a puzzle here to solve
