Day 3 of #Solotober#boardgame that deserves more of my attention.
Yes, new-to-you games always count as new! I played Agricola for the first time just last year and it felt very much new and fresh! š
Every Friday after school for an hour. 11-16 year olds. Itās free for them (pretty much all school clubs are free for kids in the uk) and Iāve brought some of my games in to use. Ideally, Iād do it on a different night, but some of the kids attend other clubs then.
One Iāve not played, but really should. I very much enjoy Tekhenu and Trismegistus from Board & Dice.
In the third year of it now. Not gone exactly as I planned (takes a lot of teaching of rules), but the regulars can now play love letter, Splendor, Tsuro and Perudo unaided. TBH I wish a few fewer kids came along - would make life easier! 15+ inexperienced gamers is hard going but we get there š
Yeah I picked it up same time as Undaunted Callisto. I enjoyed the one time I played it before and itās great for school club. Iām not usually a party game fan, but this one is a lot of fun š
Iāve loved every minute of playing through the undaunted scenarios solo. I like Conservas a lot. It is perhaps a bit on the easy side, once you grasp the general strategy, but I donāt mind that. Great production and a good one to unwind with.
