My wife and I in front of the building that we first met 38 years ago. #WoTSelfieSunday#WOTSkies#WheelofTime
Once again begging people to learn about reflexive control propaganda and to incorporate an awareness of such into their personal digital media literacy
This was the building the little hobby shop was located called "Dragonware Hobbies." I met my wife upstairs, first on the phone, and two weeks later in person, in the gaming rooms I hung out at every weekend. You might recognize the building if you watched The Vampire Diaries or The Orginals.
This is a lemon sour. A drink that seems to be a local thing served at the small pharmacies that had soda fountains when I was growing up. It is soda water from a fountain, fresh squeezed lemons, and you add salt to the top to get that foam. It is sour-salty heaven.
Taking a break from walking around the festival at a nice outdoor seating area at a Mexican restaurant. When my wife and I met several decades ago in this small old town area, there wasn't much here except the hobby shop in which we met. Now, it is crazy all the cool businesses that are here.
10 video games to get to know me (no order) Baldur's Gate 3 Battletech Crusader Kings 2&3 Rimworld Banished Total War (historical versions) Football Manager (every version since the mid-90's.) The Sims (though I have given up on TS4) Kerbal Space Program Solasta: Crown of the Magister
The level of relate I have to this. We are going to a fall festival today, and I'm excited to see all the booths and such. Yet, I am dreading the constant need to interact as people try to sell me stuff. Trying to politely say "no" that many times is almost physically painful to me.
