The “range anxiety” is more an issue of lack of charging infrastructure. Don’t need to worry about range when there’s a functioning gas station in every town and highway exit. Feels different when it’s hundreds of miles between chargers and you stop at a broken one and can’t get to another option.

That’s the issue. While Tesla chargers are everywhere, finding a non Tesla charger is difficult, and often broken. Rivian is putting up some of their own but wish it wasn’t such a mess right now.

Yeah that’s really it for me. A planning problem and harder to lug spare batteries compared to liquid containers if offroad / someone needs to come and help
