I can relate. I got it thinking about using it for different recording applications, but it doesn't really want to be used that way-- it's more like a meditation device that you play/commune with for the sake of the communion itself.
You can coerce it into playing it like a normal synth but it’s like cutting off its limbs. The joy is in the discovery. My rule is once I find a starting sound I like I hit record because if I develop something cool via playing it I’ll not be able to do it the same way again.
