So I've seen the bans. I don't see the need for them but I ain't going to threaten death over it.

Day 8: They removed the feeding tubes. I have never had so much enjoyment being able to blow my nose. They also removed the splint from where they did the forearm flap procedure. I have to change it every other day. I'M GOING HOME TOMORROW.
Day 7: Took a swallow test, and they decided I was doing well enough to try minced food. I had pasta. It was a chore but I ate it all. Then later I had a milkshake. It was a chore but I drank it. Also had puppy therapy.
Ha ha ha ha
But it makes for a terrible Rubik's cube!
I need to get some cubes.
Day 5: They put a cap on my trach valve so I could officially breathe on my own. If I could do it for 24 hours they said they would remove it. Which brings us to... Day 6: They removed the trach! It's going to take a while, but the wound will heal. So far so good!
