The ongoing broad right wing goal has been, for at least the last 40 years, the privatization of public services. First they strangle their budgets in order to “break” them, then when they are broken they move to pull that public money into private corporate hands.

I'm still on Team Mastodon, but it seemed worth checking this place out.
