Never saw Heroes, but what happens with them, do they actually stay together?

They did..but she left to go to space with the promise that they'll get married in 1200 years while she goes to finish her quest lol. But it's heroes canon so it's kinda whatever anyway; if she is made canon proper they'd rework it I'm sure.
