I had a whole class at film school that could basically have been described as "Herzog vs. Documentaries." Great class, excellent instructor.

I've never actually watched this clip, but I can still hear it perfectly in his voice.

I briefly met him when he came to the opening of one of his films at the Pike Place Market in Seattle. He was like that. I was the projectionist and we all went out afterwards, but I don't recall many details. I'm pretty sure the film was Woyzeck
