To be honest here in Italy Threads grew popular because it was the only platform that let users answer posts with voice messages so people started belching under politicians' posts. It was hilarious tbh.

X is actively moderating against left leaning content/whatever is irritating big M at the moment tho.

It's like they divided us up in the Social Media Divorce....the ones that craved drama and arguments stayed on Twitter. The ones who wanted it easy and familiar went to Threads but the creatives went to bluesky and were content to slowly grow their community.
