“Synonyms are lies” is fucking extraordinary from a media that does nothing but use stand-ins for the word “lie.”

Harris accuses Trump of calling Putin "brilliant" but this is misleading. Trump merely called Putin a common synonym for "brilliant."

i love that the media takes all the batshit stuff trump says and reports their most generous interpretation of what he *might have meant* if he were sane, but when harris calls trump out on *anything,* they jump to say, "hold up! those aren't the exact words he used! you can't know what he meant!"
