It all depends on how much you travel electric only. I can state I drive 2000 mpg or 20 mpg. With my mitsubishi I drove 30 mpg on average. That's my use of the car in my situation. The Skoda promises 40 mpg on average. We'll see.

True for the first generation. (I owned a Mitsubishi Outlander phev). But my next is a Skoda Kodiaq phev which gets 60 Miles all Electric (and yes, I tested this). That's enough for most short range travel.
