It's fun how quickly Bluesky has felt like the good parts of Threads, because it was never about the platform it was the community. That's what Mosseri & co. never understood. They need us more than we ever needed them. It's fun how quickly Bluesky has felt like the good parts of Threads, because it was never about the platform it was the community. Bullshit
A hundred f*cking million percent. And all of us shifting at once is perfect collective action. “Don’t panic. Organize.” Hit them in their profits until they change or die.
I prefer Threads honestly Seems more organic with reach on timeline and replying to others where BlueSky is harder to grow
It's unfortunate that so much of the community's that were/is keeping threads alive are also politicized hot button issues. A failure to correct a shift away from the constant and returning people towards the twitter influx could and should spell doom for that app

The curation tools are a little lacking. It's hard to find what you are looking for.
it took the Threads community to make me use Bluesky which is the ironic part.
Damn. You put what I was feeling into words. I've been shocked at how much I've been enjoying scrolling on BlueSky these days and couldn't articulate why. That's it. Shoot, it feels like Threads before that bonus program existed.
The hard part of switching social media isn't making a new account, it's finding all the same people again
