I give this advice often so Art tip : Your eyes are better equipped to see contrasts rather than color. For that reason, values are the most important part of your colors. Don't hesitate to turn your drawing into grayscale to adjust them. Create good areas of focus with your contrasts, and you win.

About 2 years ago, @mnevesart.bsky.social drew full rendered art of my OC for free. This single act fueled me to continue drawing, I wouldn't be drawing here today if it weren't for it. When I was finally able to draw my OC, I closed the circle and commissioned him proper. It is now done :)
