Oct 4 How often have I knelt here before? Picking some crime scene’s carcass for whatever scraps the local PD couldn’t bother to nab. Hardly any meat on this bone. Just some old chalk from the cops. Typical. Then I see it: candy corn. Heady stuff. Worth checking out. #TibbyTime
Oct. 3 Like a dead carp I thought sunk ages ago, my casebook’s back. I’d retired it sometime back in the Renaissance along with my faith in man. Taking Hallow’s job shoulda been it for Tibby, PI. I filled my book with arcane rituals. But maybe it’s got room for one last case. #TibbyTime
Oct. 2 As we entered Tilly's home, our cheer vanished like a graveyard’s morning mist. Lying on the floor, stake through her heart's cage, was Tiny Tibby's beloved cousin. Rage flashed in TT's eye sockets. "Get the sonofabitch who did this, Tibby. And trust NO ONE." #TibbyTime
Oct. 1 We arrived in Skeleput on the 6:59, I myself eager for that rarest of things: a holiday. Tiny Tibby’s beside himself with excitement. We’re to meet his cousin, Tilly, the local witch. I expect she has big plans for us and will ensure this respite is one to remember. #TibbyTime
Mark me down for another 1,400 words! Great #AmWriting session today. About half was balancing a delicate negotiation before the tension was broken by a good ol’ fashioned shootout. Can’t wait to see how it goes!

For the first time in over a week the scheduling gods smiled on me, and I had a writing session. 1,225 words, too! Felt great getting back to it and looking forward to wrapping this draft. Who knows, maybe more tomorrow! #AmWriting

A forlorn train whistle cuts through the deepening evening. Ahead of its brethren, a small, red leaf falls. It crunches underneath a bony foot. The train's echo fades into a single, whispered word: soon. #TibbyTime
Stayed up way past my bedtime the other day finishing THE BONE SHARD DAUGHTER, by Andrea Stewart. What a blast! Had a tremendous time in this waterbound world filled with adventure, mystery, and fantastic characters. No question I’ll be picking up the next. #AmReading
Realize I’ve fallen off a bit here! Will try to be a bit better at posting. In the meantime, super pumped to have unearthed some old pals! Writing IP’s never been a big career goal for me, but if Dinotopia ever comes knocking…
