Civility is about comforting the comfortable. Justice is about comforting the afflicted and *afflicting* the comfortable. If "etiquette" advice can be used in service of the former and to suppress the latter, it's just toxic and oppressive civility discourse. The end.

from what i've seen they're hoping for justice & not being a dick, which includes not telling people to shut up about their lived experiences. whether that actually happens? dunno. alls i know is i am going to followfren & invite POC. mastondon wanted to be a bubble. hope this turns out differently
