We have lost Fiqah. We have lost Tinu. We are experiencing a horrible spectacle of Black women very publicly struggling to survive with disability in the "post" COVID era, and failing. And I hope when we experience the silence we understand it is because we are losing the voices that warn us.
I can barely speak or type right now. I am devastated to say that Tinu passed away at home on Thursday morning. I will miss her so much, she was family to me. She made me a better person. To help with her funeral costs & take care of her family: www.gofundme.com/f/honoring-t...

I miss Sassycrass so much. She was one my favorite souls.
And to be clear, the failure is not for lack of trying on their part. It is a failure of our society in the face of plague and mass disability.
