When I was a kid, sometimes the tv would show scenes of fisticuffs in Parliaments in faraway countries. For a six year old, This was high politics.

We were totally gonna give you freedom, but then you said those words during your protest, made us all feel icky. Guess we’re gonna have to keep up this brutal occupation… maybe we expand into Lebanon, not sure if we’ll have enough time.

Time to time, the Europeans would come… buy a couple kids waiting in the parking lot of a supermarket some candy before leaving the country as some neighborhood or another burned.
