I've heard incredibly good things about, of all things, the recent audiobook which was apparently based on what was going to be the original Gibson sequel script before, you know, things happened. Even has some of the cast!
I'm not a horror movie guy, but Alien is one of the greatest movies ever made, and Aliens is pretty close too.

I'm gonna suggest the problem is that they keep using their minds but their minds are bad and broken, they should in fact find smarter people and trust their minds instead.

Exactly. If it was just that Nazis showed up, that might be a winnable fight. But this situation isn't. All we can do is leave and hope at some point the media get tired of it being a Nazi bar. If they do great, if they don't, well, we have a different problem than we thought we did.
