I’m in the disaster area and have tried to go to Twitter for updates like the old days. It doesn’t exist anymore… everywhere there is an opportunity the algo feeds RW rot

At the Berlin Marathon yesterday, I saw a runner, a man, in the first mile, being given chest compressions on the sidewalk. He seemed like he was not going to make it. I logged onto Twitter today to try to find any information. It was just as useless.

And that was one of great things about Twitter until......

the sad thing is most national institutions - news, weather, traffic - still support this garbage pail.

Threads has gotten like that as well.
