It’s an absolutely awful illness, and lots of people act as if it’s the sniffles. Huge gap between it’s perception and its danger

I haven't had the flu many times but the few times I have -I remember how wildly miserable I was. There were moments where I hoped Jesus would come and take me. Every cell in my body was unhappy. The recovery? I was like a ghost for weeks.
