Add in how the only way they can derive joy is from another person's misery, failures, or down on their luck moments; how am I supposed to deal with that other than noping the hell away. Like who in their sane mind would want to be around that? Other than equally miserable stunted beings?
Honestly it's not even the miserability itself that's off-putting. It's what one does with it that matters I think. Some will just hold it within themselves or use it to do good. Then there are the ones who will fling it like a monkey flinging poop to others who mostly happen to be passerbys 🐒
