5. Rimworld It's Rimworld. @barronofethnis.bsky.social gifted me it and it promptly sucked me in for about 180 hours. I have one colony that's turning people into robots, another that's trying to suck up to the empire via the slave trade, one that's harvesting prisoners for parts and blood...

6. Unpacking I first saw Unpacking at PAX Aus yeaaars ago, and immediately fell in love. When I finally got to play it properly, I was ecstatic. It's a short game, but a very cosy and pleasant one that tells its story through belongings. I want more of it, honestly. ps: dark star mode is hilarious
