If you’re planning to vote by mail this fall, election and Postal Service officials are urging you to return your ballot at least a week before your state’s deadline. My latest story on concerns about potential mail delays: www.npr.org/2024/09/20/n...
Election officials are raising concerns about the U.S. Postal Service's ability to handle this fall’s expected influx of election mail. But USPS say it’s ready to deliver the country’s ballots.
Many cities have advance ballot boxes that are emptied everyday where you can also drop off your ballots. You can usually look up where those are online at vote.org after you get your mail-in ballot (and it's free). You can also drop off a completed ballot at any polling place on election day.
Register to vote. Check your registration status. Get your absentee ballot. Fast, free, easy, secure, nonpartisan.
