Honestly, every time I see a Stray Kids performance and my biases are in focus, I get all giddy. Then I look around, and I realise, I truly love all of them. But my biases are set, and I don't believe that will change. Wreckers, however, they jump around like crazy! Looking at you, Felix...
Would I prefer him using a desk? Yes. Do I also know how to pick my battles with these types of students? Yes. Having him being happy about doing maths was definitely the most important thing, and he didn't bother anyone.
Of course, my "special" class, consisting of 6 unruly boys, were a bit more challenging, but somehow, when a boy lies halfway on top of the desk, uses the whiteboard as his draftpaper, but calculates in his head like a champion, I can't do anything but smile.
Because of a class I had yesterday, I was ready to be a harda$$ for today's lessons, but today they were sweet little angels, who put their phone in the cell phone hotel, asked me to look through their work and even tried (and succeded!) at the challenges I put on the board. #LifeAsATeacher
I thought we were worried about overpopulation? Now we're worried about not increasing the world's population enough? Population growth slowing down is normal. This is an "economic problem", the planet would do better if we were less people (and/or the resources better distributed).

I am alive! And slowly getting back to social media after the holidays. Also slowly preparing for all the content that's waiting for me, but my damned job gets in the way of any proper enjoyment (said the teacher who just had 6 weeks of summer holiday... 😬)

The final chapters of ACOSF is so intense and I have no idea how it will resolve in the ~100 pages I have left, so I fear that it won't and I can't stand the cliffhanger with no book number 6 waiting (and yes, I will read Crescent City). The suspense is just 💀
