Throwback to years ago, when I discovered there's a D&D creature called a leucrotta*, described as "head of badger, tail of lion, body/legs of a deer". Sounded good-so I drew it. A few days later I realised it meant American badger-not European Here's a redraw of that mistake -2822 🎨🐡 #art#ttrpg

A black ballpoint sketch of a leucrotta from Dungeons and Dragons, but with a European badger head, instead of an American one. The body is cervine, and the tail that of a lion, and it is mid walk

As an American, when someone says "badger", the first thing I think of is the Eurasian badger. 😅 Idk why but I think all the media I consumed depicted that one and never the American one so I can understand the mistake haha Lovely creature, in any case! 💖
