As a guy who has lived through no less than 4 Bugs Bunnies and several Muppets voice changes. I notice the new Mario voice and it bothers me. Good thing Luigi sounds good. Yet another reason to go green.
My cat Bennie has become an agent of Dracula. I was like right there up in his smug face playing Castlevania 3 on NES doing really well and then BAM! Bennie bumrushes me. Saving Dracula and damning the world.
Yes Lower Decks is a comedy at it's heart, but it helps show the wider range of people in Starfleet. Like all the stuffy dorks get posted on flagships. Troublemakers get space station duty like DS9. Your average person, gets a caliclass posting. If you lived in Star Trek, you'd be cali class. Sorry.
I say leave it, but maybe paint some weathering effects. Moss or dirt? It would make a great little decoration in or near house plants.
