Also, in my limited experience, teams who deliver digital services early and often are much less likely to get carved up and shunted onto management's next priority.
Another good reason to get software shipped quickly, you never know when your team will get disbanded or put onto something new. I wish this wasn't the case (fund teams, not services and all that), but teams assuming we have more time then we will, is a big contributor to gov not delivering more.
